Industrial Engineer

RIX Industries seeks an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing of advanced gas generation, storage, and compression systems serving defense, marine, aerospace, energy, and industrial markets. In this role, you will analyze production workflows, reduce waste, and improve quality using Lean and Six Sigma methods. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient layouts, tooling, and standard work, while driving continuous improvement, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment that values innovation and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes for advanced gas systems
• Develop layouts, workflows, and tooling to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Use data and statistical methods to drive process optimization and quality
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methods to improve throughput and reliability
• Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams on new and existing products
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard times
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, and cost
