Sportsbook Ticket Writer Nugget

Position:
Sports book Ticket Writer – Full Time (Nugget).

Location:

Sparks, NV, United States (On‑site).

Reporting to the Sports book Manager, the Sports book Ticket Writer is the primary point of contact for customers in the retail sports book. The role involves delivering high‑quality customer service, assisting patrons with sports‑betting knowledge, handling cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with company and gaming regulations.

• Provide a top‑tier level of customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Adhere to all rules and regulations set by the company and the Gaming Control Board.
• Become familiar with betting options and educate customers about those options.
• Resolve customer disputes and complaints; escalates to supervisor when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to maintain a positive work environment.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation in accordance with company policy and Gaming Control Board standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic computer knowledge (Email, MS Excel, internet, etc.).
• Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience in a work setting.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Age 21 or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to obtain a gaming license from the Gaming Control Board.
• High level of customer service orientation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple math.
• Understanding of and responsibility to adhere to all compliance requirements set by the company and Gaming Control Board.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Lift, pull, or push up to 25 lbs.
• Write for extended periods of time.
• Twist, bend, or reach without significant limitations.
