Job Summary

Clear Connection is seeking a detail-oriented and organized experienced Permit Coordinator to manage the permitting process for our projects. This is an in-office position, no remote work available. The Permit Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining and tracking all necessary permits, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This position ensures projects stay on track by lining up permits and expediting the process for all parties involved.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various entities.

Responsibilities
  • Log, submit, and track permit applications for various projects.
  • Communicate with regulatory agencies, municipalities, and other relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits.
  • Help to ensure all permit applications comply with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including submittal dates, application status, approvals, and expiration dates.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely permit acquisition.
  • Monitor permit timelines and proactively address potential delays.
  • Track and submit permit revisions and renewals as needed.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of permit management processes and procedures.
  • Respond timely to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding permit status and requirements.
  • Organize and maintain permit related documentation.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in permit coordination, construction administration, or a related field is a must.
  • Strong understanding of permitting processes and regulations is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills is a must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets is a must.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
