This working Imaging Supervisor opportunity will perform a variety of imaging procedures in Surgery, Emergency Department, Pain Center and the Imaging Department and is responsible for patient safety protocols, scheduling orientation, and daily activities. This individual functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in continious quality improvement activities.
Job Duties /Responsibilities- Ensures all radiology equipment is maintained and inspected annually. Monitors staff radiation levels on a monthly basis. Reinforces staff and physician practice to reduce radiation exposure.
- Evaluates need for new or different stock items in regard to new trends, needs of the department.
- Posts performance improvement monitoring. Analyzes and evaluates services and activities to improve care/parameters.
- Thorough knowledge and skill in administration, side effects and complications of contrast media

Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years experience.
- Two (2) plus years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of two (2) or more modalities.
- High School graduate; BS degree preferred.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
