Schedule, greet, pre-register and/or register patients in a courteous and professional manner;
Verify insurance benefits and check for authorization, pre-certification, notice of admission, physician order accuracy, and medical necessity;
Obtain patient signatures for required forms, run estimates, and collect patient financial responsibility when required;
Provide professional, high quality customer service and timely resolution to customer problems;
Rotate into various areas of the Patient Access Department including the Emergency Room and may work a variety of shifts
