Job Summary:

Are you a compassionate mammography technologist looking to join a growing team and Breast Center? As a mammography tech, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, educate and comfort our patients through their visit, and partner with radiologists to deliver timely results. If you are passionate about women's health, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence at our health system, this is the job for you.

Job Duties:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography/DEXA/X-ray procedures according to ACR standards
• Produce high quality breast images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Support and follow all quality and regulatory compliance requirements
• Partner with radiologists and healthcare professionals before/during/after the diagnostic imaging procedure
• Serve as the lead educator to ensure patients understand the mammography process and answer questions with compassion

Qualifications:

• High school graduate; BS degree preferred
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in radiography and certified/board eligible in mammography
• Certified in the State of Nevada to practice and administer radiation
• One-year mammography experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
