Human Resources Representative, Sparks NV

The Human Resources Representative supports daily HR operations for Belimo U.S. Inc Sparks, Nevada location and serves as a key point of contact for employee inquiries. This role assists in implementing HR policies, processes, and programs across a range of functions including recruitment, onboarding and employee relations. This role requires a self-motivated, organized, forward thinking individual with ability to work well with othersto accomplish goals and objectives.

This position reports directly to the Human Resources Business Partner with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Talent Acquisition Business Partner and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

• Responsible for sourcing, screening and employment offers for all positions in Sparks Nevada. Maintains the tracking of applicants and candidate progress in Success Factors.
• Build strong relationships with external staffing agencies and ensure regular up-to-date communication on current vacancies, current temporary staff, and ending of temporary assignments all in accordance with applicable company policies and safety procedures.
• Establish a relationship of trust and understanding with managers and employees. Working with the HR Business Partner and/or the HR Generalist, advises managers in the administration of progressive discipline and mediates performance discussions and/or termination meetings between managers and employees.
• Working with the HR Business Partner and/or the HR Generalist, conduct confidential investigations into complaints related to harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, misconduct, and policy violations.
• Works closely with Group Leaders and Management on temporary employee assessments and performance reviews.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks, new hire paperwork, orientations, and exit interviews.
• Assist employees with day to day issues and inquiries.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented correctly and consistently.
• Support HR projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of three years of applicable HR and recruitment experience required.
• Employee must have a high-degree of organizational skills, while being able to multi-task and prioritize individual tasks in a fast-paced growing organization
• Strong Microsoft Office and HRIS skills, Success Factors a plus
• Ability to communicate, organize and execute tasks timely
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and backgrounds
• Ability to travel once per quarter to Belimo Americas headquarters in Danbury, CT.

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,000 -$75,000 with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
