Key Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, label, and test
** structured cabling systems** (CAT6/CAT6A, fiber optic - SM/MM)

• Support cabling for
** LAN, Wi Fi, voice, CCTV, access control, nurse call, and medical devices*
* • Perform cable testing, certification, troubleshooting, and remediation

• Maintain accurate
** as-built documentation, labeling, port mapping, and rack layouts*
* • Coordinate with
** network, desktop, biomedical, and facilities teams
** during deployments and upgrades

• Support hospital IT projects including
** wards, clinics, labs, OTs, data centers, and clinics*
* • Ensure adherence to
** hospital safety, infection control, and change management standards*
* • Work within defined
** SLA, incident, and service request processes*

Skills:

*
* • Hands-on experience in
** structured cabling (Copper & Fiber)*
* • Knowledge of
** fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and cable certification tools*
* • Experience with
** racks, patch panels, cable trays, and conduits*
* • Basic understanding of
** network connectivity and LAN infrastructure*
* • Ability to read
** floor plans and network diagrams*
* • Healthcare Environment Experience (Preferred):*
* • Experience working in
** live hospital or clinical environments*
* • Understanding of
** patient safety, infection control, and low-voltage systems*
* • Ability to work in
** 24x7, mission-critical operations*

Qualifications:

*
* • 2-5 years
** experience in structured cabling or network infrastructure

• Healthcare, hospital, or mission-critical environment experience preferred
Certifications (Preferred)

* Structured Cabling Certification (BICSI / OEM)
•
* Fiber Optic Technician Certification
•
* ITIL Foundation / Safety certifications (good to have)
