Senior Network Engineer / Network Security Engineer (Cisco SDA, ACI, Palo Alto)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco SDA, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewalls, and enterprise networking technologies.

The ideal candidate will handle advanced (L3/P1) troubleshooting, network design, security implementation, and operational support across LAN, WAN, Data Center, and security environments.

Key Responsibilities Network Architecture & Implementation

Implement and support:
- Cisco SDA (DNA Center, ISE, fabric onboarding)
- Cisco ACI (APIC, EPGs, contracts, fabric design)

Firewall & Security Management

Administer Palo Alto Firewalls:
- Security policies, NAT, routing
- VPN (IPSec, site-to-site, remote access)
- Panorama and threat prevention

Wireless Network Management

Manage enterprise WLAN environments:
- Cisco / Aruba
Perform:
- RF optimization
- Roaming troubleshooting
- High-density deployments

VPN & Connectivity

Design and troubleshoot:
- IPSec VPNs
- Multi-vendor VPN environments

Infoblox (DDI) Administration

Manage:
- DNS, DHCP, IPAM
Handle:
- Grid management
- Failover and high availability

Advanced Troubleshooting (L3/P1)

Lead troubleshooting of critical issues across:
- LAN / WAN / Data Center / Security
Perform:
- Real-time packet analysis using Wireshark
Drive resolution during high-pressure incidents

Operations & Support

Manage:
- Network devices and upgrades
Support:
- Incident resolution and root cause analysis
Assist L1/L2 teams in resolving issues

Collaboration & Leadership

Lead technical troubleshooting calls
Coordinate with cross-functional teams
Communicate technical issues effectively to stakeholders

Required Skills Networking (Core)

TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, Multicast

Cisco Technologies

Cisco SDA (DNA Center, ISE)
Cisco ACI (APIC, EPGs, Contracts)

Security

Palo Alto Firewalls (PAN-OS, Panorama)
IPSec VPN

Wireless

Enterprise WLAN (Cisco / Aruba)

DDI

Infoblox (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)

Tools

Wireshark (packet capture & analysis)

Soft Skills

Strong troubleshooting skills
Communication & stakeholder management
Ability to work under pressure

Experience Required

7-12+ years of experience in:
- Network Engineering / Network Security
Strong hands-on experience in:
- Cisco & Palo Alto environments

Preferred Skills

Multi-vendor network environments
Automation exposure (good to have)
Experience in high-availability and enterprise networks
