Business Systems Analyst II
An experienced Business Systems Analyst to partner with stakeholders and technology teams to document and implement data and technology initiatives.
Responsibilities- Partner with businesses to understand reporting and data use cases, expectations, and timelines.
- Translate business and functional requirements into user stories.
- Present user stories to development teams during refinement sessions.
- Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders and users employing a user‑centric approach.
- Perform quality assurance checks throughout the development lifecycle.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing, create test cases, and conduct sessions with business users.
- Assist in designing data warehouse schemas and tables.
- Document and communicate root cause analysis for system issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis systems or related field.
- Substitutions: higher-level relevant degree or 6 years relevant experience if no degree.
- Strong experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools.
- Aptitude to learn new technologies quickly such as Power BI and SQL.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Advanced problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze business systems/processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and recommend process improvements.
- Experience with agile tools such as Rally, Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Git Hub.
- Experience testing technical solutions.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
- Certification as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of requirements documentation tools such as Visio, Word, Excel, Jira, Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience with data mapping and documentation of system integration metadata and touchpoints.
- Basic experience with writing SQL and understanding table querying for documenting data requirements.
- Strong knowledge of project planning and execution.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work on a computer for the majority of the shift.
- Hand/finger dexterity for computer tasks.
- Ability to travel as required.
Estimated starting salary range: $82,039.23 – $. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location.
