AWS is looking for a Network Deploy Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.
Key Job Responsibilities- Scale support of several data center locations and provide day‑to‑day assistance with capacity management.
- Work closely with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution as directed by Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers.
- Leverage experience supporting large‑scale, enterprise‑class networks, and network implementation and troubleshooting.
- Manage work and priorities through the ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
- Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Specify power and cooling requirements and ensure hardware racking/stacking is completed for new equipment.
- Participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
Traveling within and outside of the regional work area is required. You will be responsible for having a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license; company transportation will not be provided.
A Day in the Life- 1+ years of computer networking experience.
- 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in computer networking and working with Linux operating systems.
- Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
- Industry standard certification (CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+), or experience working in a colocation data center facility.
- Experience with network troubleshooting tools (telnet, test‑net connection, tracert, tracetcp, iperf, ntttcp, dig, packet capture tools) or experience in managing and troubleshooting network.
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP(S), DNS, and TCP/IP.

Base salary range: 30.00 – 54.00 USD hourly.
