Deploy Technician, DCC Communities

Key Job Responsibilities

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
• Install Fiber and Copper cabling; patch cabling between equipment.
• Ensure safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area; maintain a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

• Regularly lift/move up to 40 pounds; group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in an environment operating 24/7; participate in primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
• Operate in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments.
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating system experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair (4+ years).
• Experience in computer networking (3+ years).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Can work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution in high‑pressure environments.
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Experience working in a data center environment (racking, stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).

The base salary range for this position is $30.00–$54.00 USD hourly. Your package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
