Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep our customers online. We are looking for a CMMS Engineer to serve as a system matter expert within an Amazon data center region. This role requires an ability to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges, work effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams, and own end‑to‑end processes for deploying the EAM platform.
The role includes support for local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training. It also involves documenting and driving global processes for the EAM system, acting as the gatekeeper for mission‑critical data, and developing system enhancement modules. The position requires approximately 20% travel on site launches.
This position will own the end‑to‑end process from start to finish for deploying the EAM platform within the data center region. Key responsibilities include supporting local teams with asset data collection, maintenance scheduling, reporting, and training; acting as the gatekeeper for mission‑critical EAM data; developing core and advanced module enhancements to meet regional or global requirements; and driving global process and documentation improvement.
BasicQualifications
- 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
- 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, or 3+ years of facilities management experience
- 5+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
- 2+ years of data‑driven business operations processes experience
- Experience in business intelligence and analytics
- 2+ years of SQL Server database query and reporting experience using ETL, data warehouse, and SSAS/SSRS tools
- Working knowledge of EAM equipment hierarchy, object coding, and naming conventions
