AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician works with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of next‑generation networks and develop innovative ways to automate and scale our network.
You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts and operations managers. Your work will help deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost.
Key Job Responsibilities- Move and install large enterprise equipment.
- Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cabling between equipment.
- Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
- Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
- Safely use material‑handling tools and equipment.
- Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
- Work in environments that operate 24/7, including primary responder rotation and after‑hours support.
- Work in cramped, elevated or noisy environments.
- Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- 2+ years of experience in any of the following or similar technical or vocational roles: computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, technical project management.
- Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Experience with medium to large, complex project scopes and ambiguous details within the work environment.
- Knowledge of major command line protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common networking protocols (BGP, OSPF).

Location and hourly range:
Avondale, AZ – $30.00 to $54.00 per hour. Additional locations include Sparks, NV and Chantilly, VA.
