Commissioning Engineer, Commissioning

As a Commissioning Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will play a critical role in ensuring that all cloud computing infrastructures are implemented and maintained effectively. This role requires a deep understanding of both hardware and software systems, ensuring they meet operational standards for scalability, reliability, and security. You will troubleshoot complex problems, provide innovative solutions, and maintain AWS's reputation for providing leading edge cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of AWS computing systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system architecture meets operational requirements.
• Inspect and verify system performance against established benchmarks.
• Provide feedback to development teams to address and rectify potential system issues.
• Document all commissioning activities including system behaviors, discrepancies noted, and steps taken to rectify issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
