Qualifications:
- Current certification and credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Experience working with students and within school settings is highly preferred
- Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Flexibility and adaptability to new work environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Interpret classroom instruction and school communications for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Support clear communication between teachers, staff, students, and families
- Prepare for assignments by reviewing content and collaborating with educators
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to interpreting ethics and standards
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
