What To Expect

Facilities Maintenance Technicians support maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment within the Tesla Gigafactory Nevada facility. They utilize technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills, working as a team with the Facilities Operations and Maintenance departments, performing general maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs as needed.

What You'll Do

Support all Facilities contractor scopes of work, including job walks, LOTO confirmation, scope reviews, and ensuring adherence to Tesla standards and protocols.

Perform maintenance on various types of industrial equipment, primarily mechanical.

Use equipment drawings and manuals to maintain and troubleshoot equipment.

Identify parts required for maintenance and coordinate their procurement.

Communicate equipment issues to leadership and propose solutions.

Display positive attitudes and uphold good work ethics aligned with Tesla's mission and goals.

What You'll Bring

Minimum of 5+ years of related experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Technician.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and parts lists.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all management levels.

High initiative, capable of working independently and in teams.
