Graveyard Shift Data Center Operation Manager

Location: USA - McCarran, Reno 3300 Waltham Way Suite 106
Time Type: Full Time
Shift: Graveyard (6pm - 4am; Tuesday-Saturday)
Responsibilities- Develop and manage systems and procedures for safe and profitable operations, equipment, and products.
- Meet productivity and service goals, complying with client SLA terms.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and propose cost‑saving measures.
- Maintain compliance with client KPI’s and quality system requirements.
- Supervise, motivate, and discipline team members, ensuring fair and equitable treatment.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, training, and professional development programs.
- Keep senior management and client representatives informed of critical operational issues.
- Plan daily work schedules, review work orders, and assign duties to warehouse staff.
- Plan space reorganization based on volume demands and staffing needs.
- Ensure team members are trained on SOPs and client and DSV cultural fit.
- Maintain high motivation and focus on customer satisfaction.
- Provide growth and development opportunities for team members.
- Support adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct routine staff meetings to review daily and weekly activities.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of logistics/distribution experience.
- At least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Ability to work in regulated warehouse temperatures, ranging from mild to moderate.
