Branch Manager

Sunbelt Rentals is looking for a Branch Manager (Profit Center Manager) to lead a multi‑million dollar rental center. The role provides overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the center’s operations, including Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Maintenance, and Logistics. The Branch Manager is responsible for achieving financial and performance goals, preparing operational and financial reports, and managing day‑to‑day operations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of sales, customer service, fleet maintenance, and logistics.
  • Manage financial performance, including P&L, budgets, and key financial controls.
  • Develop and mentor a high‑performing team.
  • Prepare and review operational and financial reporting for the unit.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer, vendor, and employee relationships.
Qualifications
  • Business Management degree and at least 1 year of rental industry experience, or 3–4 years of rental industry experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of P&L and other key financial controls.
  • Experience in outside sales or in construction/industrial markets (preferred).
  • High level of accountability, time‑management skills, and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
Physical Demands

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, as well as working indoors and outdoors as needed.

Compensation

Base pay range: $70,000 – $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, location, and qualifications.
