Tesla is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable Operations Program Manager, LFP Cell Manufacturing to support multiple operations teams, including production and production control. You will work cross-functionally with Global Supply Management, Logistics, Material Planning, Production Control, Finance, Quality and Facilities to oversee and direct Tesla priorities via execution of improvement projects to support safety, operational efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Implement systems, process, configurations, and change/optimization projects in a consistent manner across all LFP manufacturing production lines.
- Participate in project definition, scoping, and option analysis activities, and assist with identifying team priorities and completion of projects based on priorities.
- Manage operations project and day-to-day costs, including working with procurement teams to drive cost management improvements.
- Prepare roll-up information for senior leadership.
- Maintain a safe work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, including actively coaching personnel and visitors to quickly address safety issues and concerns.
- Foster a professional, respectful, and welcoming work environment, while maintaining Tesla standards for personal and operational excellence.
- 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, production, supply chain, logistics, and/or evidence of exceptional ability.
- Demonstrated communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple high priority demands simultaneously; ability to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity.
- Self-driven initiative to gain and implement a broad knowledge of warehousing and supply chain best practices.
- Exceptional project and system management skills.
- Passionate and high energy, possessing the diplomacy and cooperative style to positively influence outcomes.
