Production Technician II - Evergreen

The Production Technician II takes on more complex assembly tasks and ensures the accuracy and quality of assembled components. This role involves working independently and providing support to junior team members while adhering to safety and compliance standards. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn‑key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide.

• Assemble complex electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies according to detailed diagrams and drawings.
• Perform quality inspections and tests on assembled products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic assembly issues.
• Maintain and calibrate assembly tools and equipment.
• Document and report production activities and any discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist in training and mentoring junior production technicians.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve assembly processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years as a technician or in a related field.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing principles.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment.
• Prior experience with electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Basic skills in assembly, soldering, and connectors.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• OSHA 10‑Hour Training certification.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. Military.

• Perform assembly tasks, including the ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Operate and maintain assembly tools and equipment, requiring hand/finger dexterity.
• Stand for extended periods during the work shift.
• Work in potentially hazardous or loud environments, following safety protocols.
• Ability to travel may be required.
• For office roles, capability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
