Job Summary

The Maintenance Lead ensures timely execution of repair and preventive maintenance activities throughout the facility. The Lead contributes technical expertise to resolve equipment issues, recommends improvements, conducts failure analyses, and prepares technical reports on modifications and procedures.

Essential Duties
  • Coordinate, direct, and hold accountable the maintenance teams on shift to perform planned and emergency maintenance.
  • Evaluate hourly personnel, identify training needs, and develop employees to improve maintenance skills.
  • Assess maintenance impact on online performance, uptime, throughput, and product quality.
  • Accurately update the computerized maintenance system daily for the responsible shift.
  • Maintain Workday (HRIS – labor tracking system) daily for the responsible shift.
  • Communicate daily activity of work order status with planners and production supervisors; coordinate shift‑to‑shift handoffs.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities with maintenance teams; use all available resources to correct issues expediently.
  • Execute shift plan for planned work orders, preventive maintenance, training, and capital projects.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance development and budget management with planners.
  • Apply root‑cause analysis to resolve technical problems in packing, process, warehouse, and utilities.
  • Integrate Lean Six Sigma processes into daily activities.
  • Identify continuous improvement and cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Manage predictive and preventive maintenance technologies and programs.
  • Review and coordinate work requisitions and related requests for feasibility, approval, and priority assignment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements
  • Wear PPE such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit with respirator when required.

Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance.
  • Experience reading blueprints.
  • Sensitivity to customer needs and stringent delivery requirements.
  • Availability for weekends and/or overtime as needed.
  • Professional communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Team‑building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Working‑level knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
