Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials to support production, customer delivery commitments, and operational efficiency for Future Form Manufacturing. This role manages material requirements, monitors inventory levels, coordinates with suppliers, and supports production scheduling to maintain uninterrupted workflow and optimized inventory performance. This position bridges supply chain, operations, and procurement, translating demand signals, production schedules, and inventory data into actionable material plans that improve reliability, scalability, and operational discipline across the organization.

- Plan and manage material requirements based on production schedules, forecasts, and customer demand.
- Manage vendor supply plans on a daily, weekly, monthly basis ensuring they are executing to expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust supply plans to maintain target stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Identify potential material shortages, capacity constraints, or supply risks and proactively develop mitigation and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve delivery or quality issues.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters including lead times, safety stock levels, reorder points, and minimum order quantities within the ERP system.
- Release and manage material orders, requisitions, or transfer requests as required to support production schedules.
- Track and report key performance indicators including material availability, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turns.
- Participate in daily and weekly production and planning meetings to communicate supply status, risks, and priorities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to support new product introductions, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze material usage trends and demand patterns to improve planning accuracy and inventory performance.
- Optimize internal systems and assist in their integration with goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve material flow, planning processes, and data accuracy.
- Maintain organized work spaces and digital records in accordance with company policy.

Senior Supply Chain Analyst
SAFETY REQUIREMENTSFollow all OSHA safety regulations and those set by Future Form Manufacturing.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience working with ERP / MRP systems (Net Suite experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of inventory management, material planning, and supply chain processes
- Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments and suppliers
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments
- Experience in ERP implementations and system improvements
- Experience with demand planning, production scheduling, or capacity planning
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience improving planning processes or inventory accuracy
- APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP)
