About the Opportunity

As the Machine Operator at Monin, you will be responsible for working as part of a team of talented producers to manufacture, bottle, and package syrups, purees, and flavors following Monin specifications. You are a self‑motivated team player with strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, capable of troubleshooting machinery and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate, clean, troubleshoot and change over production equipment.
  • Complete and document sanitation on equipment and surrounding areas as required in the master sanitation schedule.
  • Produce the product according to specification on the requisition sheet and according to plant safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Identify process nonconformities, root causes and take corrective action.
  • Utilize TPM methodology to clean, inspect, lubricate and maintain equipment.
  • Report equipment concerns and repairs to maintenance staff and record work orders in the CMMS.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with Syrup, Maintenance and Scheduling teams.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure activities are performed to quality standards, SOP and Work Instructions.
  • Encourage housekeeping and sanitation of all manufacturing work areas.
  • Identify training opportunities for operators and bring them to the attention of the Manufacturing Supervisor and Director.
  • Follow all work instructions and job aids and complete documentation and quality checks per SQF requirements.
  • Apply a continuous improvement mindset to improve processes.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area and follow chemical handling procedures.
  • Report any food safety and quality related issues to management.
  • Uphold, inspire and reward adoption of company mission and values in the workplace.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other related machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in relation to machine operation and manufacturing support.
