PURPOSE:

The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for leading the safety program at the plant. They ensure that the facility and all employees are in compliance with all State and Federal regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow and support all Company Safety, GMP and HACCP policies
  • Conduct safety training for new employees
  • Organize annual safety training for all employees, to include; , Confined Space, Fall Protection, Emergency Evacuation, Ergonomics, Blood borne Pathogens, LOTO, and facility inspections
  • Develop and conduct new training programs as needed
  • Complete OSHA forms and reports
  • Conduct incident investigations & complete Risk Assessment
  • Lead and Implement Safety projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A four-year degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experience
  • Ability to work any shift as needed
