Overview

Machine Operators operate lithium‑ion battery cell production machines in clean‑room environments, ensuring safe and high‑quality product production. Responsibilities include operating and starting machines, troubleshooting, maintaining production logs, coordinating with maintenance, and adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Shift: Days and Nights

Department: Electrode

• Operate one or several lithium‑ion battery cell production machines, including inspection and conveyance equipment.
• Start up and run machines; identify and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Deliver materials to production floor and use barcode scanners.
• Analyze workload estimates and perform multi‑tasking.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians with preventive maintenance and equipment clean‑up.
• Monitor processes and perform visual quality checks to meet acceptance standards.
• Maintain production logs, QC records, and shift logs.
• Follow work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and 6S cleanliness standards.
• Adhere to safety rules, environmental regulations, company policies, and work instructions.
• Communicate effectively with co‑workers and maintenance teams.

• Read, write, and speak English.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a functional area.

• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing, automation, or assembly environments.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in metric and standard units.
• Basic MS Office skills.
