Position: Production Supervisor (Test Department)

The Production Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating production activities, as well as managing and mentoring production staff.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn‑key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide, supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers across air, land, sea, space and cyber domains.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.
  • Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement production schedules and plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of production staff.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Prepare and present production reports and metrics to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications – You Must Have
  • Associate's degree in a related field of study.
  • 5+ years in a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
  • In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 7 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
  • Experience with corrective action planning.
  • Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of manufacturing principles.
  • Military or Civilian Electronics schooling.
Qualifications – We Prefer
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • OSHA 10‑Hour Training certification.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. Military.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study.
Essential Functions
  • Perform assembly tasks, including the ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Operate and maintain assembly tools and equipment, requiring hand/finger dexterity.
  • Stand for extended periods during the work shift.
  • Work in potentially hazardous or loud environments, following safety protocols.
  • Ability to travel may be required.
  • For office roles, capability to work in an office or hybrid environment.

  • Annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non‑U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
