Overview
The Equipment Operator safely and efficiently locates product by using a radio frequency (RF) unit, manually pulls product from locations, and transports product to various departments by using powered equipment. They process customer orders during the production day and restock product into bins.
Responsibilities- Operate powered lift equipment to move product and materials as assigned, using an RF unit to scan movement of product and identify locations.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product.
- Restock, pick, and pack product for customer orders.
- Inspect assigned equipment daily at start of shift; check out equipment and return it in the same condition.
- Follow procedures for proper care and use of equipment, including keys.
- Adhere to all safety requirements and guidelines.
- Complete and maintain lift operator certification in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of lift operator experience
- Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
- Basic math skills for counting and quantities
- Ability to follow directions and adjust priorities as needed; rotate to other production functions as required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Essential days or overtime may be required
Bonus:
Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: accrues paid time off weekly based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

Work environment is a warehouse setting with varying conditions. The role requires standing, walking, and talking; frequent handling of items up to 60 pounds; use of powered equipment; occasional climbing stairs; and exposure to dust, noise, and temperature changes. Personal protective equipment may be required. Basic English literacy is needed for operation of machines and daily paperwork.
