Dimensions Living Management of Northern Nevada / Northern Nevada State Veterans Home is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our nursing team and ensure top‑quality care. • Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily operations and care planning.
• Provide professional and clinical supervision for LPNs and CNAs.
• Support nursing staff through training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Serve as acting Director of Nursing in their absence.

• Lead quality assurance and improvement efforts across the care team.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Participate in audits, surveys, and ongoing readiness initiatives.
• Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and resident‑focused care.

• Build and maintain a positive, team‑oriented work environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs.
• Provide open, honest communication and feedback that helps team members grow.
• Encourage professional development, training and continuous learning.

• Current RN license in good standing (required)
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing;
  Master’s degree a plus
• 2+ years in long‑term care and supervisory experience strongly preferred

• Strong leadership, decision‑making, and mentoring abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and confident managing competing priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (Point Click Care experience preferred)

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with resident care as needed
• Comfortable with a flexible schedule (weekends, holidays, on‑call)
• Able to walk, stand, bend, and lift frequently throughout your shift

Salary: $85,000 - $108,000/Annually depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, AM hours
* On call rotation after hours
