Staff Registered Nurse ICU – Intensive Care Unit (Sparks, NV)

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide full‑time, 36‑hour night shift nursing care in our 124‑bed acute care hospital.

• Construct and implement patient care plans using nursing knowledge and skills.
• Integrate direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnoses and comorbidities.
• Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients.
• Develop goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans meeting individual patient and family needs.
• Complete hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs such as pain management, repositioning, and toileting.
• Support and inform patients and families about the hospital’s Patient‑Centered Care delivery model, including open medical record policy, open family visitation, family presence during resuscitation and other invasive procedures, and promotion of a quiet environment.

• Current Nevada nursing license.
• At least one year of critical‑care nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within six months of hire.
