Job SummaryCoordinates wound assessments and care plans, provides patient, family and staff education for wound management, and performs general nursing duties as needed. Participates in performance improvement plans.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Perform wound assessment, reassessment, and management for all patients, including neonate, pediatric, geriatric, and general populations.
- Apply knowledge of the anatomy, physiology, and disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and dermal systems.
- Utilize current wound management theory to care for patients with acute and chronic wounds.
- Develop skin care programs to prevent skin breakdown of patients.

Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current state Registered Nurse licensure
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical/surgical or rehabilitation nursing
- Certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
