Registered Nurse – Medical/Telemetry Unit – Night Shift

Full‑time night shift positions are eligible for a $10,000.00 sign‑on bonus. This role is based at Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124‑bed acute care hospital located on 23 hillside acres at 2375

E. The position offers a convenient night shift schedule and is integral to providing quality, patient‑centered care in a comfortable, accessible environment.

• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
• Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and comorbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients.
• Consistently completes hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs (e.g., pain, repositioning, toileting).
• Collaborates with the patient’s designated care partner to meet the educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.
• Follows communication practices that minimize risks associated with handoffs among providers and across transitions in care utilizing the SBAR process.
• Provides safe and compassionate care to patients in the medical/telemetry environment, focusing on patient‑centered care and meeting the psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population‑specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• One year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute care setting.
