Graduate Nurse - Medical ICU Nights

ICU Registered Nurse (Per Diem Night Shift)

Relocation offered.

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Serve as a professional leader and support for the healthcare team.
• Use the Patient-Centered Care concepts as the foundation for all nursing care.
• Construct and implement the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
• Integrate direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and comorbidities.
• Coordinate the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients.
• Consistently complete hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs (e.g., pain, repositioning, toileting).
• Support and inform the patient and family on hospital-specific components of the Patient Centered Care Delivery model, including open medical record policy, open family visitation, family presence during resuscitation and other invasive procedures, and promotion of a quiet environment.

• Current Nevada nursing license.
• At least one year of critical care nursing experience.
