We are offering a per‑diem Emergency Department Registered Nurse position with a convenient, flexible schedule. We are looking for a dynamic, experienced ER Registered Nurse who will provide direct and indirect patient care with compassion and respect. The nurse will communicate with physicians about changes in patient conditions, respond quickly and accurately to changes in status or response to treatment, and perform general nursing duties in all departments under adequate supervision.
Must be willing to float to all units.
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
- Performs a head‑to‑toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy, including pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients as well as the general patient population.
- Uses triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients, accurately assigning triage categories.
- Assesses and reassesses pain, utilizes appropriate pain management techniques, and educates the patient and family regarding pain management.

- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current ACLS & BLS certificates
- PALS certificate (to be obtained within six months of employment)
- At least 2.5 years of ER experience required
