About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Nurse Apprentice to help provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse preceptor. You will communicate with the RN preceptor about changes in a patient’s clinical condition, including diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
LocationNorthern Nevada Medical Center, a 124‑bed acute care hospital located at 2375
E. Prater Way, Sparks, Nevada.
- Perform bedside report using IMAP & SBAR in partnership with the patient.
- Conduct head‑to‑toe assessments on all patients and reassess as required (pediatric, geriatric, and general populations).
- Co‑create a patient care plan in coordination with the RN preceptor.
- Revise the care plan based on patient response and evaluate effectiveness daily under RN supervision.

- Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing.
- Has completed the fundamentals course in nursing school.
- Valid Nevada CNA license.
- Current BLS certification.
