Registered Nurse - Per Diem, Medical​/Surgical

Position Overview

Provides safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, emphasizing Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence. Offers professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes.

• Involves patients and families in psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs during care assessment.
• Develops and implements personalized plans of care using nursing expertise, addressing diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary care, creating goals, treatment, and discharge plans tailored to patient and family needs.
• Performs hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and anticipate patient needs, proactively evaluating the environment for safety and comfort.

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with a current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferably one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
• Ability to pass pre-employment assessments as required.
