Role Overview

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years in medical/surgical or rehabilitation nursing
• Preferred certifications: CWOCN or CWCN
• Knowledge of wound management principles, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to perform wound assessments and develop skin care strategies

• Conduct wound assessments, management, and reassessments
• Educate patients, families, and staff on wound care and prevention
• Develop and implement skin care and prevention programs
• Support performance improvement initiatives
• Perform general nursing duties as needed
