Quality Control Supervisor

Open Positions:
Night Shift QC Supervisor (Transition to Day Shift in 4-6 months) - Fabrication Shop

• Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
• Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
• Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
• Engage with the General Contractor’s Quality Assurance Manager for inspection planning, project compliance, non-conformance management, quality audits.
• Attend weekly project update meetings with the project group including upcoming activities, status and deadlines.
• Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor.
• Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.
• Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
• Directs technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities.

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; with 10 years of overall experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seeking at 5+ years of experience in Quality Control focused on ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, and non-destructive testing
• Certification in accordance with AWS QC-1 as a Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI), Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), and/or ICC Mechanical – Commercial Certification preferred
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing direct reports.
• Proficient understanding of ASME Section IX BP&V Code and experience creating and reviewing welding procedures and welder or brazer qualifications.
