Overview
Hunt Electric, Inc. seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Electrical QA/QC Manager to join our team for our Data Center project in Sparks, Nevada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with our teams while performing visual inspections and physical testing to confirm compliance with project requirements.
Responsibilities- Inspect and test electrical systems, equipment, and installations to verify compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with project management and engineering/commissioning teams to prepare and submit testing and inspection reports.
- Double-check VDC design and prefabrication products for compliance, quality, and accuracy.
- Develop and execute project QC plans.
- Coordinate formal notifications as required.
- Lead QA/QC documentation (reports, test data, logs, QC daily reports, etc.).
- Cross-reference and verify testing standards for compliance.
- Coordinate with third-party testing firms as needed.
- Conduct regular site walks to support and verify QC activities.
- Promote adherence to QC standards with Superintendents and field personnel.
- Ensure quality control procedures and safety guidelines are followed.
- Proactively identify and address potential deficiencies; collaborate with the commissioning team.
- Provide clear, concise communication to clients and internal teams.
- Travel to onsite locations for extended periods as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team environment; maintain dependable attendance.
- Other duties or locations as assigned by the Manager.
- Minimum of 5 years in the electrical construction field.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a construction environment performing QA/QC auditing.
- Experience with electrical equipment and conductors to ensure safe testing, QC, and commissioning.
- Experience with safe start-up of electrical systems.
- Experience with de-energizing and LOTO of electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace).
- Up-to-date computer skills, including Excel, MS Office, email, internet, Bluebeam, ACC, and Procore.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; teamwork-oriented.

Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.
