What To Expect
The Commissioning Turnover Coordinator is responsible to support planning, coordinating, executing, tracking, and reporting all commissioning activities for a specific area or project scope. The Turnover Coordinator will work with construction, quality assurance, and commissioning system owners and field supervisors to ensure that all disciplines are systemized, and documents completed are officially handed over for use in the factory, and that the equipment meets all code, specification, and project requirements.
WhatYou'll Do
- Monitor and support assets in the construction phase. Attend project meetings to ensure equipment passes quality checks and is ready for the next phase.
- Work with construction and system owners to review project drawings and ensure they are accurate. Organize checklists and update systems for any changes.
- Keep equipment status and project checklists up to date. Record any issues or punch list items related to construction, commissioning, and quality assurance.
- Make sure commissioning documents are complete and properly stored. Help develop or review commissioning processes as needed. Ensure proper handover of assets to Facilities or Manufacturing teams.
- Coordinate, develop and review commissioning schedules and workforce requirements. Liaise with operations for look‑1‑week and 4‑week look‑ahead for commissioning projects and support requirements.
- Work with the Quality Assurance group and the County for permit closures and Project closeouts.
- Coordinate the development of Integrated System Tests, Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests and Pre‑Test Plans.
- 1–3 years of experience in commissioning in a technical field.
- Knowledge of construction quality checks, drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Proficiency in using computers and software.
