Overview
Quality Control Engineer II responsible for establishing and maintaining quality control systems in battery manufacturing.
Shift & DepartmentShift: Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm
Department:
Quality
- Establish quality control systems for battery manufacturing process
- Conduct quality investigations into production systems to maintain battery cell safety and quality standards
- Analyze and evaluate process data to reduce defects and costs
- Provide support to manufacturing process to resolve production issues related to quality
- Monitor and control production outputs and implement appropriate actions for out‑of‑control situations
- Update and maintain quality documentation related to manufacturing control points
- Test and evaluate in‑process samples to maintain quality standards and improve process performance
- Other duties may be assigned
- Full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, or full hazmat suit with respirator (required for some roles)
- Basic:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related discipline - Preferred:
Master’s Degree in above fields or related discipline
- 3+ years of quality engineering experience
- Experience with quality control of batteries or electronic devices
- Strong analytical skills and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with quality management tools (control chart, FTA, FMEA, etc.) and MS Office
- Problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Working‑level knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality management system auditing
- Experience with laboratory analysis using X‑Ray, SEM, ICP, or similar tools
- Background as a quality engineer in high‑volume manufacturing
- Data analysis experience (statistical process control)
- Experience in defect reduction of high‑volume manufacturing products
