Job Title: Instrument Laboratory Scientist

Reports To: Instrument Group Lead

Job Description:
This is an Instrument position in the Laboratory Department responsible for conducting a variety of laboratory procedures using established methods and techniques under direct supervision.

The Instrument Laboratory Scientist (ILS) is responsible for sample preparation, testing, and other laboratory tasks as required. This role includes operating instrumentation and conducting experiments, all while maintaining detailed records of observations, measurements, and results. The ILS is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, disinfection, and upkeep of laboratory work spaces and equipment. This position requires familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures, following detailed instructions, pre-established guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The ILS operates under direct supervision and works to meet production standards and deadlines in accordance with SOPs, production goals and quality assurance standards.

Salary/Wage Range: $23.00 – $35.00 per hour
