Material Handler II - Sparks, NV

Position Overview:

Warehouse Associate – receives, verifies, and stores inventory using RF technology. Onsite in Sparks, Nevada.

• Verify received items against product description, quantity, packaging, and expiration dates.
• Break down products into correct selling units and store in assigned locations.
• Mark discrepancies for review and ensure damaged or expired items are handled appropriately.
• Utilize RF devices and participate in receiving and picking functions.
• Support special projects and perform additional duties as needed.

• Maintain company standards for quantity and quality of work.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and workplace behavior directives.

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Basic warehousing operations knowledge preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented, problem-solving, and ability to work under stress.
• Capacity to read fine print and distinguish similar products.

Hourly rate: $19.25 in Sparks, Nevada. Promotion increases the current employee’s rate by $1.25; internal transfers retain current rate.

• Lift, carry or move up to 0‑25 lbs continuously; 25‑50 lbs infrequently.
• Pushing/pulling hand jack requires 25 lbs force.
• Continuously grip and manipulate small items; frequent twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling.
• Occasional overhead reaching, ladder climbing, and use of hand tools.
• Work in a temperature-controlled building; occasional dust exposure and cold environment.
