Job Description

As a Tru Green Field Sales Representative, you’ll be the welcoming face in the neighborhood, meeting homeowners face‑to‑face to introduce them to the benefits of personalized lawn care solutions. Using the Tru Green Sales Playbook, you’ll provide tailored services right at their doorsteps, turning casual interactions into lasting customer relationships.

What You’ll Do
  • Engage with homeowners, understand their needs, and deliver custom lawn‑care solutions.
  • Conduct door‑to‑door outreach with professionalism, energy, and a positive attitude.
  • Customize sales messaging to match each household’s unique lawn‑care needs.
  • Convert “just looking” into “just signed” using a proven sales methodology.
  • Log interactions and track performance using a CRM to measure activity and follow‑through.
  • Cross‑sell and upsell with precision by showcasing lawn‑care upgrades.
What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or GED (advanced people‑skills credentials welcome).
  • Previous sales or customer‑service experience is a plus; passion and hustle are valued.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication skills for small talk and closing deals.
  • Solid time‑management skills and a self‑starter mindset.
  • Comfortable using mobile technology; tools are handled via a tablet or phone.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds outdoors.
  • People‑skills that make every doorstep a warm lead.
Salary

Annual pay range: $27,669.00 – $58,865.00 based on qualifications, experience, and location. Most candidates start in the bottom half.
