The responsibility of the Sales coordinator is to oversee and coordinate the workload flow of the Convention Sales department. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and seminars for sales department staff; and client interaction as needed to support the sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform day to day administrative duties for the Directors/Managers of Sales.
- Prepare sales contracts, proposals, and correspondence.
- Responsible for the generation and distribution of all sales reports.
- Prepare transportation and amenity requests.
- Receive, open, and distribute incoming mail and documents.
- Update Delphi pick-up weekly and run GRC for weekly meeting.
- Route all bookings to appropriate and pre-established departments within twenty-four hours of receiving contracts
- Facilitate rooming lists, VIP orders, transportation requests to all appropriate departments in timely manner.
- Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.
- Using the Nugget’s system of recognition, recognize team members who are going “above and beyond” as appropriate
- Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
- Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
- Regular predictable attendance is required.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Director of Group Sales
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum 21 years of age.
EDUCATION LEVELHigh School diploma or equivalent is required.
LANGUAGEEffectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
EXPERIENCEMinimum 5 years previous experience with administrative support, preferably in hotel sales and Delphi/Salesforce experience a plus
SPECIAL SKILLSAdvanced skills with Microsoft Office including, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power point.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTAbility to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.
Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
