Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

$14.00 to $17.00 per hour. Employees can earn up to 8% commission on transactions, averaging an additional $2.59 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate thrives on engaging with customers and assists with inquiries and problem resolution.

The role involves working with a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked, and well‑displayed sales floor.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy‑back transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Completes other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting). Requirement is consistent with federal, state, and local law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist a customer outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate Point‑Of‑Sale (POS) systems and common office machines.
