As a Security Officer - Battery Manufacturer Part-Time in Sparks, NV
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to deter security‑related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care.

• Provide customer service to client employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, labs, common areas, loading and parking areas, and perimeter routes to help deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and conduct visitor management activities such as verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, and/or maintaining access logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, completing initial actions such as scene assessment, notifications, and coordination with site contacts and public responders as directed.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders, and support security‑related investigations by preserving observations and reporting timely findings.

• Have 1+ years of security‑related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
