As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.

+ Monitor access points and conduct security-related screening as assigned, verifying identification and/or authorizations and directing visitors to the appropriate areas.

+ Complete required reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate key information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A Private Investigator License unarmed is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
