The Data Center Security Officer maintains security and safety of people and property of the datacenter. Identifies and escalates issues in accordance with documented policies and procedures, conducts patrols of the datacenter to ensure protection of assets and property, and provides strong customer service, access control, loss prevention, incident response, observation and reporting for all safety and security incidents.

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience preferred.
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
