Security Guard - Patrol Officer

Sparks, NV. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Sat  05:00 AM - 01:00 PM | Sun 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and documenting observed conditions and/or incidents.

• A guard card and/or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
